PARDON ?
----------
This afternoon I received a very strange phone call. It made me wonder
just how stupid people can be, and what their minds are actually made
from. Here, for those of you saying, "Eh ?", is the conversation.
THE PHONE RINGS
Me - "Hello ?"
Woman - "Hello...."
Me - "Hello...."
Woman - "Hello......erm.... Sorry, I think I've got the wrong number...
I was trying to phone British Telecom."
Me - "Uh ? .... Erm... if you want to ask them something you'd be better
dialing 150."
Woman - "Oh... That's what I thought I'd dialled, maybe I pressed a few
too many buttons.... haha..."
Me - "Okay, bye."
Woman - "Bye."
Now, just think about it..... HOW THE FRIG CAN ANYONE GET MY NUMBER
(WHICH IS 10 DIGITS LONG!!!) CONFUSED WITH BRITISH TELECOM ENQUIRIES ?!
Nobody I know would have been daft enough to confuse 150 with my number,
not even if it was on a memory button ! Weird or what ! Stupid woman !
Just thought I'd tell everyone !
